Benjamin Barrett is a blacksmith. The least likely craftsperson ever to choose to be a strolling vendor. And yet, every week he's at Market carrying his craft around! This intrigues me quite a bit.

Benjamin Barrett doesn't know yet that he's the Beautiful Booth of the Month person. This is unusual as well. I generally let people know, take their picture, have a chat about their craft and booth, but this week it didn't work out that way. To be honest, I was away from Market for a few hours on Saturday and didn't have time to accomplish my Beautiful Booth task properly. I did catch a glimpse of Ben and his new booth - a clever conversion of a blue handtruck into a strolling booth, and got even more intrigued. I resolved to use the two photos I already had, and find him the next Saturday to fill in the blanks.

I did catch up with Ben the next week, he said he strolls because he has a hard time committing to getting to Market early on Saturdays. (me too). He also said he was taking a break until getting back from Burning Man, so I'll get a picture of him and his new booth then.
