This month's winners are Terry & David Church, of Forgeries
Terry and David's Forgeries booth has always been beautiful. Designed and frequently re-designed to attract and engage, it's always a work in progress. At first glance, the unified, simple color scheme has a sophisticated feel that highlights the many small pieces displayed rather than overwhelming them. As you approach, the angle of the front counter invites you in to have a closer look. The informative yet succinct sign explains the basic process in a minimum of words. The use of embroidery hoops with green velvet to display pins makes the pieces accessible, but keeps them neat and organized.
Terry's designs and David's metal work blend perfectly in creating these small, wearable works of art. Each unique piece is individually crafted from hand forged, recycled copper. The designs are inspired by leaves, famous works of art and animals. Terry's graduate studies in Egyptology are reflected in their many Egyptian designs. Have a look at their booth at our upcoming Holiday Market - completely different, with an Egyptian theme, and beautiful of course! Terry and David choose to sell their wares exclusively at Saturday and Holiday Markets.
Terry and David set up their beautiful booth regularly in space 47, which is near the small lawn on the Fountain block.
