Brooke Lovaas started her Market career about fifteen years ago. Like many Market artists, she started with several crafts, found out what customers liked, and started to focus and hone her skills. As you can see, she makes batik t-shirts, mostly in kid-friendly designs, though there are also some quite sophisticated adult shirts as well. Animals are a favorite subject, and the colors are bright and attractive. This booth is always an abundant place full of color and full of t-shirts.

Gary has just finished a major overhaul of their booth, vastly improving the display and shopping space. He took advantage of the metal frame, and the fittings available, to build hanging racks right into the sides of the booth. Since the stock is short in length, that left plenty of room for the waterfall racks above. That allows individual designs to be highlighted, but gives and attractive depth as well. Since the layout is symetrical, customers get a great view of what's on offer from either direction. The standing grid wall at the back of the booth defines the end of the space, and has a little check writing stand. There's plenty of room for several customers to be browsing in the space at the same time, an accomplishment in just 64 square feet!

Hmmm, and is it a coincidence that their neighbors, Lynn and Linda Brown, were Beautiful Booth of the Month last September? Probably, I only just noticed, though there seem to be a lot of coincidences around the Market. Suffice it to say, it's a beautiful neighborhood.
