June 2002 Beautiful Booth of the Month Award:

This month's winner is Elizabeth Eisenman, MudMom

Elizabeth Eisenman's beautiful booth is an eye-catching fixture at the eastern edge of the Market. Bright whirligigs spin in the breeze above attractive displays of her colorful ceramic works, all set off against white sides, roof and table cloths. Silk wisteria garlands give a nice finishing touch to the booth structure. Elizabeth's ever-cheerful persona lights up the booth as well, and makes shopping at her booth a great experience.

"MudMom" specializes in ceramic Zen Gardens, lovely containers filled with white sand. Each one comes with a tiny wooden rake for making designs in the sand, and a choice of stones, glass gems, and tiny animals and figures, which you get to choose. She also makes "House Money," ceramic tokens you can give to your kids to encourage chores and homework instead of cash, which they can then trade in for agreed up on treats and rewards. There are plenty of decorative and functional ceramic pieces in her booth as well.

Elizabeth sets up her beautiful booth regularly in space T10, which is across from the East Lawn, next to the Corner Cafe.
