July 2002 Beautiful Booth of the Month Award:

This month's winner is Julie O'Briant, Aesthetic Creations

Julie O'Briant's beautiful booth is so inviting! It's filled with to the brim with beautiful artwork, yet feels bright and spacious even at 8 feet square. The white lattice walls covered by lace help create this effect, as you catch a glimpse of the Park Blocks fountain through the back wall. The top of the booth is festooned with silk wisteria, colorful sun-catchers, and whimsical dragonflies.

Julie uses lots of natural materials - dried flowers, moss and twigs - to fashion her picture frames and arm chair planters. This year she has introduced colorful paper collages which also take their inspiration from the beauties of the natural world. Stop by and enjoy her Aesthetic Creations! She's at Market nearly every Saturday.

Julie sets up her beautiful booth regularly in space 25, which is on the west side of Oak Street near the corner of 8th.
